Innovative and scalable, our platform was born of the excitement and vision of three young founders that envisaged a platform based on AI principles that saved costs through automation and maximized player lifetime value.  A platform that creates and supports business growth and acts as a source of competitive advantage, that allows operators to work smarter, not harder, supports growth and scales up to any size of operation.

Winning the award for Software Rising Star in 2014 at the EGR Awards validated and boosted further our efforts on this front. Many nominations and awards and three funding rounds later, the dream of becoming leaders in the global iGaming arena, has become a reality, with our operations steadily increasing to grow into over 50 countries world-wide.

Our founders provided a strong background in technology, legislation and the operation of iGaming companies. These three pillars have given birth to the Bit8 platform which has become one of the most established and reliable gaming platform providers in the industry. We feel that we have now achieved our dream of providing the most outstanding, and reliable Gaming platform on the market.

Early on we realised that the key to survival and growth for Gaming operators lies in conversions, maximizing player lifetime value and loyalty. This is why from the very beginning we focused our attention on creating the marketing and retention tools required by our clients to create complex Bonuses and Promotions in an easy way. With a team of over 70 developers, analysts, service delivery staff and industry experts, we have the necessary manpower to handle large operators and simultaneously retain nimble reaction time to market challenges and new requests.  Our expanding operations and global alliances are enabling us to grow rapidly into over 50 countries worldwide, and leading us to support a comprehensive variety of product verticals – all backed with a range of professional services.

We have also attracted the best people from leading companies in the gaming, financial and enterprise software industries, enhancing our service and operational processes.

Here at Bit8, we proudly sponsor community initiatives that all our employees feel should be supported. These include Hospice Malta, the Inspire Foundation, LifeCycle Bicycle Marathon, Paws for a Cause as well as various IT student organisations such as ICTSA and MCAST. In collaboration, we have organized a student internship programme, designed to provide talented students with the opportunity to acquire valuable work experience, which is greatly beneficial for their future. Our aim is to be able to provide further resources, to research and develop in terms of software and quality assurance. We also chose to sponsor University of Malta’s Research trust fund.

As a company we believe in work-life balance and encourage a healthy attitude to life. We provide a sports allowance and regularly organize sport activities in order to keep our employees active and maintain a sense of friendly competitiveness. Regular social events and company-wide meetings are held to keep up a positive team spirit.

We believe that we need to care for our environment collectively, by promoting beneficial practices in everything we do. We believe that every little helps. Office paper and waste recycling programmes, as well as the reinforcement of positive habits like turning off all lights and carpooling have set the wheels in motion for a better, cleaner future for us all.

We are proud to say that our office space has not only been pointed out as one of Malta’s leading benchmark buildings for sustainable and ecologically-friendly commercial spaces, but it has also been nominated for the Mies van de Rohe Award 2013, by the Maltese Chamber of Architects.

We have incorporated green features that have allowed us to reduce costs and go about our business in the most environmentally-friendly ways. We make use of natural light, advanced ventilation systems, sound proofing and effective insulation and air-conditioning, all of which also provide a better ambiance for our staff and visitors.
