Successful Sigma for Bit8
Malta show allows supplier to show how far their offering has developed
This year’s Summit of iGaming Malta (SiGMA) was a huge success for Bit8. We see it as the home event on what is a relentless and full-on conference season for us, and we are always excited to be able to showcase our great products and services on home turf.
The summit was the largest to date and we welcomed hundreds of delegates to our stand over the three days. It presented a great opportunity to spread the word about the huge progress we have made over the past 12 months, as well as discuss some of the trends and challenges the industry continues to present.
One of the hot topics was talent, and how operators and suppliers can attract the brightest minds and creative thinkers from the technology sector. Being based on Malta certainly has its advantages – year round sunshine, for a start – but we realise we need to do more to draw talent away from tech hubs around the world, and excite them by island life.
Here at Bit8 we are doing a lot to engage students and young professional passionate about technology and the gaming industry. When compared to our rivals, we have more initiatives in place than most of them put together, and are leading the charge when it comes to recruiting the right people into the right roles.
Our student internships and our close ties with university associations certainly raised eyebrows among our peers. As did the phenomenal progress we have made in the past few months, which is testament to the incredible team we already have in place.
As 2016 draws to a close we are riding a huge wave of momentum that will take us into the new year, and a new chapter for Bit8. So strap yourselves in and hold on tight, it’s going to be one hell of a ride!
